Any Given Sunday
This, folks, is not your average joe. He is a fitness and lifestyle coach, the entrepreneurial brains and brawn behind Lazo Fitness which provides highly customized wellness services throughout New York City. On any given day, you can catch him running around Manhattan from session to session with a full-time roster of loyal clients, plus fitness clinics, TV show tapings, business meetings, and networking events, all the while maintaining an inexhaustible supply of energy. Moreover, no other trainer can step up his or her game and show up for client sessions the way he does, effortlessly styled in high end, luxury street and casual sport wear.
In fact, what we see on Joe is a sign of a bigger trend in fashion. More and more high-end fashion luxury brands such as Bottega Venetta, Hermes, and Louis Vuitton are now taking their inspiration from the court and street, putting their own spin on it, even venturing beyond fashion and into the lifestyle business. Just last week we saw the much-anticipated high-street designer collaboration with the launch of the Alexander Wang for H&M collection. To say delirium ensued is an understatement.
This past Sunday, Joe spent the morning with clients, followed by brunch and an impromptu photo shoot with me, then a post-brunch workout. All the while, he looked, like he always does, effortless this time in Lululemon and Balenciaga, leather and cashmere. Who says comfort can't be stylish? And for all the men out there who freak out even over the suggestion of wearing Lululemon because it's a yoga brand, get over it! Then do me a favor and head-over to the all new Lazo Fitness blog where Joe shares his keen style sense and industry knowledge on all things related to sport and street fashion. For the men reading this, now's your chance to step up your game.
