Introducing The Boyfriend
Is there any such thing as the perfect boyfriend? You bet! I have two of them: the boyfriend shirt and the boyfriend shorts.
The term "boyfriend", as it relates to clothing, describes casual, loose-fitting, menswear-inspired pieces but cut to maintain and flatter the feminine shape. The appeal factor, other than the body-forgiving nature, comes from the impression that this look took little effort, like you just woke up that morning and threw on your man's stuff. There's a certain sexiness to delightfully disheveled nonchalance.
